Our farm wedding packages are designed to include as many amenities as possible, with Southern hospitality at the forefront. Expanding over 54 acres of North Carolina farm land encompassing an indigenous pine tree forest and 3.5 acres of scenic ponds, The Union Exchange has ample scenic spaces to say “I do.”
Featuring an abundance of restored historic structures and with a capacity of 150 guests, you and your sweetheart are sure to find the perfect locale to bring your wedding day vision to life.

Full Farm Package
Full Farm Package
Ready for an entire 54 acre farm all to yourself? The Full Farm Package includes 4 sleeping accommodations the night of your wedding, your choice of ceremony and reception location, plus more!
Maximum 150 guests.
Onsite sleeping accommodations for up to 21 guests.
Couples can choose between two event barns and can add on Splinters, our open-air bar, for cocktail hour at no extra cost.

Pine View Package
Pine View Package
Couples enjoy a secluded retreat amongst our magical pine tree forest! Located at the back of our property, the Pine View Package includes private indoor and outdoor event spaces with breathtaking views!
Maximum 130 guests.
Onsite sleeping accommodations for up to 21 guests.
Exclusive access to the pine tree forest or meadow for ceremony and Pine View Barn for reception.

Farmhouse Package

Our enchanting micro wedding package is ideal for intimate celebrations featuring our stunning pine tree forest and our elegantly renovated 1920’s white farmhouse for celebrating after you say “I do”.
Maximum of 50 guests.
Onsite sleeping accommodations at 2 properties.
Exclusive access to the pine tree forest or meadow for ceremony and McCain House for reception.
- Access to Union Exchange owned event furniture including white resin ceremony chairs, formal dinner tables, cocktail tables, and cross back reception chairs. The Full Farm Package includes access to an array of vintage furniture.
- Venue team to set up and breakdown venue owned furniture before and after your event.
- Access to white or black linen tablecloths.
- Access to the McCain House at 9am for a Bridal get ready space before checking into the onsite Airbnbs at 2pm (included in Full Farm and Pine View Packages).
- Complimentary access to our venue for an engagement photo session or Bridal Portraits.
- Two event consultations and site visits with Venue Manager.
- Venue Manager to operate as a liaison between your Event Coordinator and our Venue Operations Team throughout the planning process and will be onsite the entire day of the event.
- Farm wagon to shuttle guests to ceremony and/or reception locale. Suggested for weddings with a maximum of 60 guests.
- Onsite sleeping accommodations.
- Access to our golf cart to shuttle you and any guests that need special assiatnce to and from the ceremony.

Before & After “I Do”
All farm wedding packages come with our two dreamy farmhouses that can sleep up to 15 guests the night of your wedding. Relax and unwind in style and take full advantage of the farm with your closest friends and family.
Additionally, our Full Farm and Pine View wedding packages also include two brand-new, chic glamping cabins nestled on our farm. Perfect for your wedding night or to treat family and friends, these tiny houses offer modern comfort with a rustic touch.
Both cabins are climate controlled and come with a cozy firepit to enjoy when unwinding after the wedding. One of the two glamping cabins is fully ADA-compliant.
- FULL FARM WEDDING PACKAGE
Ready for an entire 54 acre farm all to yourself for your big day? Then this is the package for you.
The Full Farm Packages includes sleeping accommodations at four properties the night of your wedding, your option of ceremony location and reception location, plus so much more.
We include set up, breakdown, and event furniture for ceremony and reception. Additionally, coupes have access to our vintage furniture that makes for great sweetheart, gift and cake tables. Couples can choose between the Auction Barn or Pineview Barn for their reception space and also have the option of adding Splinters, our open-air bar, for cocktail hour at no extra cost.
The Auction Barn is our flagship historic structure that features rustic cedar walls, craftsman custom-made bar, vintage restored windows and marbled concrete floors. The Barn includes two ADA compliant bathrooms and opens out to our Carolina Pavilion looking over our enormous lawn, pond and fountains. Only available when booking a Full Farm Package!
The Auction Barn comfortably sits 125 to include the dance floor or 140 with the dance floor moved to the Pavilion. Contact us to learn more about this package!
- THE PINE VIEW WEDDING PACKAGE
One of the most magical features of the Union Exchange is the North Carolina indigenous pine tree forest located in the very back of the property. Couples can enjoy a secluded retreat in the freshest air Union County has to offer.
With The Pine View package , couples can choose between a ceremony located within the natural hallway of pine trees or our stunning private meadow. Both options provide a backdrop that will leave your guests speechless.
Guests walk from the ceremony to the Pine View Barn for a cocktail hour and reception. This package offers couples the chance to take full advantage of the farm in an enchanting private setting and includes sleeping accommodations for the night of your wedding.
For weddings of a maximum 130 guests with dance floor on our fully covered patio and a maximum of 100 guests if couples opt for an indoor dance floor. Contact us to learn more about this package!
- FARM HOUSE WEDDING PACKAGE
The Union Exchange happily facilitates micro weddings and has a unique opportunity with the abundance of space on the property. The Farmhouse package begins the day of your wedding at 9am with full access to the historic McCain House. The excitement continues with check in to the Homestead & our pondside farm cabin for sleeping accommodation at 2pm. From there, meet your partner at the aisle in our pine tree forest or whimsical meadow. After “I do” your group will journey up to our 1920’s white farmhouse, The McCain House, for your reception. Better yet, your guests will be shuttled to and from the ceremony spot to the reception via our tractor and wagon.
These more intimate weddings include all rental furniture needed for ceremony and reception. Tablecloths included.
Alcohol and catering packages sold separately.
Maximum 50 Guests. This package is only available for weekdays (Monday- Thursday) weddings.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I Need a Day of Coordinator or a Wedding Planner?
Yes, The Union Exchange requires you have at minimum a Day of Coordinator. The primary role of the Day of Coordinator is to ensure the couple’s vision is executed and to serve as the single point of contact for all vendors for the event. The Client’s Wedding Coordinator/Planner must have prior professional experience and must not be part of the Client’s wedding party or considered a wedding guest.
Do you allow outside caterers?
We are excited to share that The Union Exchange offers a full menu of catering options and packages including appetizers! We no longer accept outside catering. Please note this rule does not apply to bakers.
Do you offer an alcohol package?
Yes! We offer a wedding beer and wine package that includes a wonderful selection of beer and wine options. The Union Exchange does not allow outside alcohol under any circumstance. Liquor and hard spirits are not allowed on the property.
Do you have a preferred vendor list?
Yes, we have a list of trusted vendors that we happily share with couples that have booked with us. Our preferred vendor list includes recommendations for professional vendors that are familiar with the property and our policies.
What additional services or add-on packages are available?
We have an extensive list of add-on services and packages available to enhance your special day and remove stress from your plate. Are pets allowed on property?
Yes! We welcome pets to be part of your special day. Pets must remain on leash and are not permitted to go inside buildings. Our on site sleeping accommodations are not pet friendly.
Is there parking for my guests?
Yes, we have ample parking available for your guests. The Union Exchange will also provide parking attendants to direct guests as they arrive.
