Whether you are inquiring about a corporate event, birthday or baby shower, we have your private event covered! We have included as many amenities as possible in our packages with southern hospitality at the forefront so you can enjoy your event stress free. You can book any of the following options below by visiting our reservation platform here. Please review our Private Event FAQs at the bottom of the page prior to booking. You will receive a Private Event Rental Agreement as well as a confirmation email once your booking request has been approved! Please note that payment will be processed when the appointment is accepted.

THE OVER YONDER
Perfect for children’s birthday parties and large group casual meet ups in the shade! Choice of Canopy Site 1 or 2.
Four regular picnic tables and one kids picnic table included. All sites located in between the chicken coop and cabins.
Maximum 30 Guests. Two hour minimum
$75 per canopy site per hour.
THE NEST
Our lofted hay barn with tree house vibes sits above our animal pasture and is perfect for birthdays, photoshoots and more!
Includes ten rustic seating options inside The Nest and two picnic tables beneath The Nest.
Max 30 Guests. Two hour minimum.
$115/hour exclusive rental.
BONFIRES
Cozy up with friends and family for an evening under the stars at our lower bonfire pit. S’mores kits sold separately inside the barn.
Ten cozy Adirondack chairs and one picnic table are included around the fire pit.
Max 20 Guests. Two hour minimum.
$75/hour on Thurs. & $100/hour Fri.- Sun.
SPLINTERS
Renovated cattle barn turned open-air bar event space with rustic charm. Introducing, Splinters!
Enjoy a cold beverage while playing your favorite yard games . This bar comes with three TVs, a PA system, and retro southern furniture. Perfect for any birthday, shower, corporate event or special occasion. Furniture consists of four rectangular tables with chairs/bench seating and four high top tables with barstools. Alcohol and food sold separately.
Maximum 80 Guests. Two Hour Minimum.
Tuesday – Thursday $150 Per Hour.
Friday – Sunday $200 Per Hour.
THE SAWMILL
The Saw Mill is the perfect unique party location featuring an indoor and and outdoor event space in a historic and restored farm Saw Mill. The Saw Mill is currently under going major renovations and re-opening for bookings March 2025.
Full climate controlled complete with two patios and a fire pit. Alcohol and food sold separately.
Maximum 60 guests. Two Hour Minimum.
Tuesday – Thursday $150 Per Hour.
Friday – Sunday $200 Per Hour.
THE MCCAIN HOUSE
Not to mention guests can enjoy the climate controlled inside as well as two different outdoor party spaces! The McCain house accommodates maximum 55 guests for a seated formal dining event or 70 guests for a cocktail style event. Round event tables and chairs included. Alcohol and food sold separately.

- $150/hr Monday through Thursday (4 hr minimum)
- $187.50/hr Friday through Sunday (4 hr minimum)
- Additional time can be added to this booking at a discounted rate.
THE PINE VIEW BARN
Introducing our newly renovated Pine View Barn located at the back of property overlooking our magical pine tree forest! The Pine View barn is a rustic barn original to the land and brought back to life with custom wooden beams, chandeliers, and marbled concrete floors. Step through the accordion glass doors and onto the one of a kind patio to take in the view! Featuring a bar and event furniture, this is the perfect space for celebrations! Make your private event unforgettable with our photo booth add-on! Perfect for capturing candid moments and entertaining your guests, this option offers two hours of unlimited photo booth usage during your celebration. Guests can snap fun, creative photos and instantly share them digitally—no printouts required. It’s a modern, hassle-free way to keep the memories alive and ensure everyone leaves with a smile!
PRIVATE EVENT FAQ
- Due to the nature of our business, The Union Exchange does not book private events more than 90 days in advance. This rule does not apply to the McCain House and Pine View Barn in the month of December. Weddings and full farm rentals may be booked up to December 2026.
- Decorations and catering must be kept in the reservation area. Glittery decor and confetti don't mix with farm animals so please leave those items at home.
- No decorations are allowed on the playground or on the store covered pavillion.
- 30 minute set up time is allotted prior to reservation and 30 minutes for breakdown is allotted after reservation at no extra cost.
- We do not allow on-site cooking, grills, crockpots, etc.
- As an NC ABC licensed beer and wine vendor, no outside alcohol is permitted on the farm at any time. Please reach out to The Union Exchange Team for more details about our Beer and Wine Options.
- Please review additional details and reminders in the Private Event Rental Agreement. Private Event Agreement and Credit Card Authorization Form will be sent upon booking and must be completed prior to reservation.
